he will also visit our next guest at the sheffer corporation.oters want to hear in his message? joining us now is the corporation ceo jeff norris. jeff, thanks for joining us. >> good morning. god bless you. ainsley: god bless you, too. so on saturday, you learned that the president was going to come to your company and speak. what was your reaction? >> oh, i was overjoyed. really at first i thought it was a call from a pac organization looking for money. so i didn't take the first call. after the second call i received it, and we're just overjoyed. and i'm so happy for our employees at the sheffer corporation. ainsley: what exactly do you do at the sheffer corporation. >> we manufacture hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders in the marine industry, agriculture. also oil and gas and aerospace. ainsley: that's wonderful. and i understand you have given all of your employee as thousand dollar bonus. every single one of them. how did you decide to do that? >> well, we really calculated our tax savings that we're going to receive and we figured it was go

[laughter] shall we call that treason? why not? >> the house intelligence committee has voted to declassify a democratic memo that refutes the arguments of the controversial, now-released memo of committee chairman devin nunes. the nunes memo purports to show the fbi and justice department abused their authority by placing trump campaign adviser carter page under surveillance in 2016 over his ties to russia. president trump supported its release, despite the objections of the justice department and fbi. president trump will now have five days to decide whether to try to block the release of its counter memo, written by california congressperson adam schiff, the highest ranking democrat on the house inintell

the people out there at sheffer manufacturing, they are working through employee bonuses, job numbers show the first real increase in wages in at least eight or nine years. so i think at that level what you're seeing something that president was entitled to brag about, the growth in the real economy. we have warned him many times, do not hit your star, mr. president, to the stock economy. those stars are shooting stars. they come down occasionally. melissa: adam, what do you think? >> i think jeff should be a little bit wash schuss. those people may may not be playing the stock market. many of them have 401(k)s and many have pensions and many have jobs at companies that do have publicly-traded stocks. i think furthermore, to echo what dan said, i was in the davos audience when president trump referenced the '86 records that the market had had under his presidency, it is irresponsible talk because he encourages people, you need to invest in the stock market. he should not be endorsing that one way or the other. it is unhelpful and it is counterproductive. as we see on days like today.
