sheila eisenberg jinz meoins me now.n't know the exact nature of the relationship between joyce mitchell who worked inside the prison and the two convicts. we have to be careful how we discuss it. i guess what i am curious about though is there is a difference between the relationships women who work inside prisons have perhaps, women who write letters and fall in love or devil of a relationship from the outside? >> that is a good question john. i would think they have a lot in common. because the main -- pro poen enlt ofpoen -- proponent of the relationships is a lack of normalsycy and the women who work in the prisons won't find the prisons exciting. but what they find exciting is the lack of freedom that goes along with the relationship inside the prison. the secretiveness, the hiding behind closed doors, the keeping things hidden from the guard and the other prisoners. i think it is the secretiveness and the excitement, the forbid forbidden nature of these relationships common to all these women. >> who has the power

let's bring in jim cavanaugh retired atf special agent in charge and sheila eisenberg. she's the author of the book "women who love men who kill," which is now available as an e-book. thank you both for being here. jim, day seven now the search is close to the prison. are they closing in? >> it's really hard to say. if they're out there on foot in the mountains, rev, the rain at the moment is favoring the two escaped killers. visibility is down they can move in the rain they might slip that cordon. don't think that they couldn't slip it. we were on a case just like this 400 police officers in a small mountainous area in alabama after a cop killer. we didn't believe he could get out of that cordon and he did slip through on foot and he did carjack somebody. don't think they couldn't get through there, right in the kre pus kohl ar light in dawn they might get out there. by the same token, they might be trapped in there. at the moment the rain if they're in there, if they're in there, it's favoring them. >> we learned today the woman just arrested joyce mitchell had a rela

joining me by skype is sheila eisenberg, author of "men who kill" and takes a deep look for women who fall for convicted murderers. also one who knew the both fugitives. thank you for joining me. for this woman who believed she was in love and called these men manipulators and charmers, i suppose when you work in a prison, you go through some kind of course or training to prepare for these guys who may try to work you. >> sure. i'm sure you go through a training and a course as you say, but it doesn't really have any effect on the psychology of who you are as an individual person, and joyce mitchell may well be a woman who was susceptible to being sucked into a con man's con, and she may have had a background and a psychology that set her up to get ro mantically -- and i put quote marks around romantically -- involved with one of these men. i'm not real clear on which one she was involved with since the story keeps shifting. >> she admitted to authorities she thought she was in love with at least one of them. with that said for her to even say that under this investigation, i believe
