this is for fayette county, shelby counties are now under tornado warnings and the storm has a historying large hail when it was over the state line before it moved in to tennessee when it was in to arkansas. we have seen reports of between golf ball and tennis ball-size hail. this is a dangerous storm. this is north of downtown memphis. i will show you it on the radar picture. you can see the area we're talking about. it is kind of getting bad data in here. it is right over the radar site. this is the area we are talking about, compared to downtown. there are multiple storms, which developed to the south and west of there. there are more storms moving in to the area as we head through the rest of the evening. there's a tornado watch in effect until 10:00 tonight for western parts of tennessee down in to mississippi, as well as in to arkansas. on the north side of the system, we are just i looking at showers, maybe embedded thundershowers but it has been a lousy day here. we have an area of low pressure. it is cut off from the main jet so stream. it will sit here the next three days. a
