sheldon dutes joins us with more. >> huguely city and 200 pollitt drinks the day love was killed and also was shocked by the news of her death. huguely was dry eyed when he came into court this morning. he ended up in tears as they played the statement he made to police shortly after yeardly love was found dead. he told police the average is going to talk. he never struck her or hit her in the face. huguely responded, "i never struck her." when they told him love was dead, it appeared to catch him off guard. he asked she was dead three times. how? how is she dead. they said he was there because she was dead. he did not believe that there was any way she was dead. during the interrogation of huguely, city got the bruises and cuts playing the cross. the former university of virginia lacrosse player is accused in the death of a yeardly love, founded in her apartment two years ago. the positions -- a physician testified she had no pre- existing heart conditions. huguely admitted the two of them had a volatile relationship but that she did not -- he did not punch or strangle her. >> today
