zero traffic westbound as chp is doing a evidence search, looking for shell casings.last 20 minutes i got a chance to speak with the driver of the black suv. i got a chance to see the bullet holes. we talked with the driver. he says had suspects were driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic, speeding up and slowing down. he passed that vehicle and that they pulled up on the left side of the suv, he says that seemed suspicious. he said something seemed odd so once that happened the suspects pulled out a gun, opened fire. i saw at least two bullet holes in the suv. one in the hoot, one through the windshield. it seems everyone was all right. the driver ducked. the driver was caravaning with his family and other vehicle so they pulled off to the right side. there you see the vehicles where they stopped. at this point in time chp conducting that evidence search and investigation here. we will continue a monitor the situation. we hope to have the interview coming up in a half hour so you could hear from the driver for yourself in his own words. live, christien ka
