: i'm shepard smith.his is the fox report. it's the bottom of the hour. time for the top of the news. it's a virtual dead heat in florida. according to the latest polls, mitt romney now leads newt gingrich by two points in a new "time" magazine survey that goes along with cnn. just a week ago mitt romney was up by more than 20 points. rick santorum and ron paul way behind. in fact, congressman paul had no events today anywhere in florida. here is where the other candidates were campaigning. 50 delegates up for grabs and in florida it's winner take all the delegates. look at this. more than a third of likely voters across the nation say it would be good for the g.o.p. if another candidate gets into the race. but almost as many say it would be bad for the party. that's according to an automated rasmussen phone survey. as for the candidates, we do have the frontrunners went at it today over immigration. carl cammeron is live in cocoa, florida along the space coast. a lot of talk today, carl, about this idea
