that sherrod brown can potentially occupy this field. from the field jumping in earlier, with kamala harris and we are still missing o'rourke and biden. obviously he's a white man from the rust belt making appeals to those voters where ali mentioned in places like wisconsin, michigan where the president won his campaign. what's your view on how he can thread this needle? >> there is two areas where i think he's gotten an opportunity to make arguments to democrats that may separate him a little bit but also he may also be blocked, number one is it is the issue of trade. and ohio, like a place in the midwest, areas we call a rough belt in general, sometimes we under estimate the degree where trade is a defining issue there. i think it was made in particular to donald trump's success in those areas in 2016 running against hillary clinton. brown's trade has been a fundamental issue at him at his entire political career. he's been front and center on it in a way that may resonate with voters out there. the competition when he starts talking a
