it's essentially a shingled box. but if you got around to the back of it, you'll see it's actually made of two cable cars and a horse car on the second floor. this is how it's sort of put together. we're look at the backyard here. two cable cars are put together and they basically removed a wall from each to make one large room, a living room. then the horse car is still complete as a bedroom off to the side. this is photographs -- perhaps the last greatest carville house left. it's really a neat place. so with the cable cars, you know you have that little pop-up roof in the middle. what they did so you wouldn't have to duck is they removed that wall and they pushed up the side roof to sort of make this dome feeling inside. and the seats are original. they're still in there. the little ventilator windows. the woodwork is all in place. it's just really a neat thing. i'd love to live there. i can't afford it. and if you get up into the attic, you can see the crowns of the cable cars still show. it's just an amazing pla

now i hung up my shingles. throngs of clients did not come to my door and those who did had little or no money. i began to defend them and they didn't care that i was a woman. they just wanted someone who would fight for them and would win, which i did a lot of. but then there is also -- there were a few of those judges and prosecutors that were a different story when it came to being around women. i remember this one prosecutor in san francisco. >> she's a woman! she cannot be expected to reason. god almighty has decreed her limitations. but you can reason. and you must use your factor you mights of reason -- faculties of reason to find against this young woman. >> oh, my! i am that formidable, terrifying object known as women. while he is only a poor, helpless, defenseless man. and he wants you to take pity on him and give him the verdict in this case. i sympathize with counsel in his unhappy condition. true, the world is -- he is -- of all men. he can aspire to the highest office. he can carry -- around the

there's no question in the marketplace if i can shingle a roof and get it done by paying $8 as opposedo $10 an hour, you are going to pick the cheaper labor. and there's opportunities for people that come across the border to america where they are getting paid three or four times as much money in this country as they get in their own and you can see the attraction. i think all of us understand that. we really don't worry about the illegal immigration that comes from canada. our economies are very much the same so there is not this attraction to cross over the border for a healthier economy as there is on our southern border. that being the case, again, i think there is clearly exploitation of undocumented aliens by the marketplace, which is unseemly. i think that particularly in a time when we have unemployment as high as it is in this country where it is 9.5% in some of our states it is in double digits. not in utah, we're considerably less than the national average, but still there are people who want jobs. and so there is opportunities out there to in fact fill these jobs with dome
