cbs news, shorewood, illinois. >>> the national weather service has issued a flood watch all throughout the highlighted zones and counties on the map, and it's pretty much throughout the whole bay area. the biwe are keeping an eye on the low-lying intersections, that's where we see the best chance of flooding into the next few days. the rain is still right around the corner, and this is what we were looking at this morning. into the afternoon hours, it's going to be more dense. it will time out around the 3:00 hour into the 5:00 hour, and widespread scattered showers throughout the bay. notice into the north bay, we see the isolated heavier storms, consistent throughout the overnight hours tonight, and by early morning hours tomorrow, we still see it very consistent. it's directed straight at the bay. scattered showers throughout friday afternoon, and heavier pockets for our friends near santa rosa, napa county, and across the board. lighter for our friends in the south bay this is saturday morning now, and it's consistent as we ring in the new year, and even into the new year on sunday
