ramy: hbo and showtime are going to get 7.5% out of all the revenue.ng to be this huge jackpot but let's say the top end of the range is reached they only get to split $30 million between them. $15 million to each of the cable operators. what it does boil down to our bragging rights and branding in saying we got the winner. olivia: is this the last big boxing payday for the cable companies? what other boxers out there are there? ramy: you hit it right on the head. there is no other athlete out there in the pipeline for the next several years or more. i've spoken with experts and they all say they cannot name a single person because of the infrastructure that boxing has had over the past few decades. they do not have the infrastructure to train up youth athletes and say you're going to go to the next level into the mouth -- into the limelight. olivia: you can spend $99 to get it on hd. a lot of people are going to want to watch it who cannot afford it. how do you combat illegal streaming? ramy: in terms of combating illegal streaming, i have this in my

betty: what about hbo and showtime? how do they make money?hey are going to get 7.5% of the revenues. that sounds like it could be a lot, but off of $300 million or $400 million, that is not a lot. let's say they pulled in about $400 million, the top end of the range, back in the napkin calculations, it shows it will be about $30 million split tween them, so that is only about $15 million going to both hbo and showtime. when i was first looking at this, i thought, this is going to be a huge windfall for both companies. but it is not a lot. betty: why would they want to do this? >> they want to do this partly for the money and partly for the branding, but also partly for bragging rights. hbo and showtime have been trying to go back and forth saying they are the better person. we did speak with hbo ceo richard peppler and he has an estimate as to how many people will be watching. richard: i think we can certainly project over 2.5 million. i think it will be something that transcends the sport even, not just the fight, but people who want to see
