we have team coverage tonight beginning with meteorologist topper shutt in the weather center and i looked out the window. i got a little giddy seeing some snow. >> it was kind of nice, didn't cause any problems around here, but i think this may be the last gasp as you mentioned. let's start with radar. there's still snow showers in parts of the area. in fact, 10 minutes ago we had a pretty good snow shower here in northwest, most of which are west of i-81 and near on their way. one more gasp as we go through the evening hours. so if you're driving down south 95 towards fredericksburg you'll probably see a couple more snow showers before we begin to clear out. live doppler 9000 is pinpointing some of the activity mainly down south 66 right now. they were up 70, but everything is pushing off to the southeast, even into southern maryland and southern prince george's county snow showers possible during the evening hours. temps, 41 downtown, 39 gaithersburg and upper 30s in manassas and also as you go west out toward winchester. factor in the winds, it feels like it's 30 outside. dress like it
