number as you can see the northern sierra 140% 147% of average central sierra 143 and southern sierra average across the entire sierra or statewide. that's 147% of average. so a nice, beautiful recovery. the snowpack. for the month of december. and there's the chance we could have maybe some minor snow accumulations by friday. here is the satellites as you can see lots of clouds streaming into a northern california in bay area's were coming closer. we'll check out the local satellite and we just have lots of cloud cover in place. not much in the way some green, although we had a bit of some drizzle this morning, especially across portions of the coastline right around the bay. earlier today, right now that the satellite is picking up on this, some of that cloud cover once again this afternoon. her numbers out there that 12 o'clock our most areas in the fifties warm spots, though approaching the lower sixties out toward palo alto, fremont and san jose jacket in 63 degrees, a live camera looking out toward sfo still solid overcast right now, so we are expecting mostly cloudy conditions

that likely means more snow coming to the sierra. we have a coastal flood advisory in effect until 10:00 a.m. monday. king tides are unusually high tides and produce mono coaster flooding in low-lying areas. let's revisit that freeze warning in effect from midnight tonight until 9:00 a.m. tomorrow for all of our inland valleys. lowest temperatures will drop into the upper 20's. here's a look at forecast lows for the overnight hours. 29 at santa rosa and fairfield. 30 at concord and vallejo. 33 san jose and fremont. even san francisco will drop into the upper 30's, down to 37. going to be a cold night. tomorrow will be chilly inland. some inland spots like fairfield and napa and antioch will reach highs of only 49 degrees, but near the bay and the coast highs will be in the mid 50's. but then you can see starting monday morning we will have another wave of rainy weather. the rain will push through monday, snow in the sierra, rain on tuesday. a little break on wednesday but more rain on thursday and friday, so we have quite a wet week

from the top of mount hamilton we could see to the top of the sierra because we can see over the low clouds and fog and temperatures are mostly in the low to mid 50s, but in san jose, we see the sunshine breakthrough in temperatures are up to 60 degrees and what a distance ffersoneak onthe partial clwarm up to the mid-to upper 50s and close to what is normal for this time of year. there will be a lot of change in temperatures through the weekend even with more sunshine and into the first half of next week we will bring more clouds and the forecast and even a slight chance of showers by thursday of next week but the long way down the line but fingers crossed we can get so much more muted and needed rainfall. here we have a better chance of showers to start the work week on monday. it looks like a very light rainmaker if it materializes at all and we will keep you updated on that through the weekend. and of course this weekend's nice weather will have a lot of people itching to head to the mountains and joining me lives now is tucker norred. a few questions. we will talk with the not s

it does show there could be at least some snow for the sierra. as far as what we'll see in the bay area, not a whole lot here. looking at the forecast for the next week with every run of the computer model, it has been showing less and less rain for the bay area going into the next week. and some of those showers will stay well to the north of us. it looks like even up around redding and eureka, that's what we're seeing. some of the rain that could be moving through the next week and possibly more rain and snow for the sierra. and then even looking at this. the runs for the models have really been going down the next week for how much snow we could see next week. maybe an inch or two. as we go into the next several days. our seven-day forecast does show that we'll see those highs reaching into the mid 60s and then a lot of sunshine in the forecast. some lower 60s going into the weekend. just a little bit cooler but still a lot of sunshine in this forecast. for san francisco, expect temperatures right at about 60 degrees over the next several days
