you're going to have that fluffy stuff that powdery snow fall down into the sierra foothills snow there around 3 to 6 inches in some areas that haven't even seen it yet. now we will have the round a foot of snowfall around some of our ski resorts and up just above lake shore lake tahoe. and then one to 2 feet of snowfall up towards the crest of the sierra. so very active weekend in particular saturday, up in the sierra. if you're looking to ski head up there today, avoid too much travel tomorrow as things get a little worse on the roads today in san francisco and the rest of the bay area expect upper 50's to low 60's for your highs. it is going to be our most mild day of the rest of the forecast in a similar feel as to what we had yesterday. so if you really like yesterday's cool sunshine today as one that you want to get out there for, we're already going to be feeling cooler temperatures tomorrow and seeing a lot more cloud cover and some midday showers. as i mentioned, and temperatures are likely to get even cooler into the middle of next week with another round of showers likely tow

we have a winter storm warning once again in the sierra away from the foothills you see for nevada city kirk with their so 80, 50, you don't want to travel tonight. we have the heavy snow expected. another a 6 to 14 inches expected about around 3500 feet. more about that. and gusts can even reach 60 miles an hour or so. hopefully not know is going to travel overnight for that looks fire tomorrow morning sunday. monday looks like a better day to travel. so back here at the bay bridge. so have those wet roads out there. so thankfully it's a weekend and hopefully people are not out of the road. you can see not a lot of traffic tonight on the saturday night, but we're also talking about the winds. we have some breezy conditions, even at this hour a lower elevation here in napa nevado 20 miles an hour. they take you over to the higher peaks you're seeing what you can see 12, 30 miles per hour in calistoga. and then 29 in petaluma throughout the evening. so you could see some tree branches down depending where you are and we'll be waking up to the low 50's upper 40's depending where you are.
