is reviewing its inmate security procedures. >> monday marks three years since teenager sierra lamar vanished while she was walking to school in morgan hill. and since that day dozens of volunteers have gathered every saturday with one goal in mind which is to bring sierra home. but tomorrow the ongoing search efforts will come to an official end. the volunteers say that despite closing that search center they'll create new signs that read sierra matters. they hope these signs will generate new leads in the case. we spoke with the man leading the search effort earlier this morning. >> we've really run out of an inventory of viable search locations. and we've been aware of this for a while. and we've had cooperation from the community on our search locations, but we've really run out of just viable places to search. >> some volunteers say that they plan to keep searching on their own. though sierra's family says it's unfair to expect people to keep looking without new leads. after about two months that sierra disappeared, authorities arrested this man, and he remains in jail charged with her murder. after years of court delays
