you notice a few returns up in the sierra nevada. the rim fire has reported a little bit of moisture, but there's also some lightning strikes over in the sierra. but for the bay area we are looking at the cloud cover. not looking at any lightning. we go through the next couple of hours, you will notice that we are looking at the cloud cover 5:00 this morning. it stays mainly in the south bay. looks like you will see more sunshine in the north bay and here's a look if he fog along the coast. and by the overnight hours still the cloud cover keeping it mild through tonight. by tomorrow, labor day, once again we will be under partly cloudy skies and the showers. could see some if you are headed to the zoo syria. possibility in and around the bay but i wouldn't cancel any plans. you can see the line here with the sunnier conditions up in the north bay. so this pushes on out tuesday. we will look for dryer conditions, less humidity, as well, as we head through the first week of september. 78 today in san jose. so out of the the 80s for you.
