but overall, a much calmer forecast for us that out to the sierra nevada at southern california and then arizona and nevada. look at that. there's a lot of remnant moisture from post tropical cyclone k which is still sitting right off the coast just right there along the mexico southern california border. we've had lightning strikes up into areas like ventura and santa barbara counties just northwest of los angeles, as well as some heavy rainfall pushing through the eastern deserts on up into portions of the sierra nevada and then arizona in the state of nevada itself really seeing that heavy, hnavy rainfall from this system. great to be seeing the moisture there. not so much tapping into the lightning that does upper fire risk, especially in southern california because of this continued heavy rainfall, some parts of los angeles county and that out to arizona and nevada under continued flash flood advisories. we should be dodging any sort of that moisture, though, here in the bay area tapping into it as much. we do have the humidity, but becoming less and less humid as the week goes by.

it's going to be up in the sierra nevada, unfortunately up in the tahoe area. but moving maybe a little bit further to the north. but we do show some improvement here and the next 24 hours or so, it looks like we'll see a strong westerly wind kicking up outside this. what we're looking at right now in the tahoe area. look at about as bad as you can be on the scale here as we're in the worst category across parts of tall, they are seeing a little bit of rain right now. just checked on the observation. that is to help the mix out to some of that smoke as well will start to precipitate some of that out of the atmosphere. but back in the bay area, you can see a little haze outside across our skies, but we should begin to see some improvement. we're getting along the coastline right now. you start to see some green showing up here. and i think tomorrow she markedly better around the bay area that stronger on shore breeze not only help to cool down the temperatures but helps to clear out the atmosphere to. so that's some good news for us as well. but to hold boy, all

numerous thunderstorms up over the sierra nevada again today. and some of that moisture.n trickling through the bay area. but things kind of quieting down just some passing clouds out there right now. you've got the low clouds and fog down below. you've got some mid to high level clouds. some of the some tropical moisture up above. but kind of interesting here. we've got that big dome of high pressure that brought that record heat that is now move east and all of a sudden now this trough kind of carbon sof out along the west coast and that's going to keep these temperatures down quite a bit. some mild to warm around most of the bay area tomorrow, a fog along the coastline. of course, keeping those temperatures on the cool side. interesting, though, things begin to switch up the long-range pattern here. you've got one area of low pressure spinning off the coastline by wedneshay that keeping the temperatures down a little bit below the average. then as we get the weekend, this will get a little bit closer. that's something to bear models the last run. at least we're paintin
