. >> to go to london and speak to simon smith, a chief economist. thank you for joining us on "france 24." do think it is a realistic plan for greece? >> it might be a realistic plan for greece. i am not sure it is realistic for others. the perpetual bonds, that is not something they are going to stomach. it is something they are not allowed to do. other aspects, i have to think creatively. you have to put new solutions down. the striker --it would take a lot more rigid approach. you have to remember the burden of greece's debt is being pushed into the future. it is more like 16 years. compare that to italy, seven years. we're not talking to write down anymore. something a lot more flexible pushing the boundaries. they are probably further than the troika and ecb want to push them. >> do you think we will get the restored confidence in greece as a result? >> it is too early for that. you are seeing the 10 year bond down in greece. the five-year is down. we are saying the reaction. a slight sign in the peripheral markets. yields down about 5 10 basis
