sioux city fire rescue and sioux city police used the jaws of life to remove at least one of the two people from the stolen vehicle. they were taken to mercy medical center with life threatening injuries, police say. sergeant scott hatting says they are still trying to identify them but have said they male and female in their 20s. he says they have not ruled any suspects at this point in relation to the stolen car. i spoke with maria garcia, she is the woman whose car was struck during the accident. she says her one year old son who was in the vehicle with her is fine. she is pregnant and told me she was going to the hospital after experiencing pains. tiffany, does this stolen vehicle have anything to do with the rash of car thefts in sioux city recently?
