now the mckinney fire burning in siskiyou county continues to put up a whole lot of smoke. most of that smoke has made its way to the east out towards oregon, nevada and eventually into idaho, not impacting the bay area. much in the oak fire hartley putting up much smoke at all. and at this point, some really good news coming out of that direction. now, as you can see, some cloud cover and even a few showers are sitting offshore of us this morning. you may notice a couple of morning sprinkles right along the coastline. the rest of us, though, just seeing a few clouds, whether it be the low clouds and fog or some clouds aloft drifting across the bay area this morning. we're definitely starting things off fairly gray. the high pressure ridge that brought us the monsoonal moisture couple of days ago. then the muggy feel the past couple of days still sits with us. and that is resulting in some pretty hot temperatures for the interior of the state reading the death-toll bakersfield among areas right back to the triple digits today. areas like san francisco back into the low 70's
