two people have died in a massive wildfire burning up in siskiyou county, right here near the oregon boundary. the mckinney fire is one of two major fires burning in our state that would just started friday. already some 80 square miles has burned at this point. that's the biggest fire of the year so far. crews are still very busy fighting the old player oak fire that's right, pointed down there near in mariposa county, not far from yosemite will go back up to that major wildfire near the oregon boundary. the siskiyou county sheriff's department just announced it found two people dead in a car in the driveway there. no word on the victim's identities. at this point, firefighters have no containment on the mckinney fire. crews are up against a number of factors, including extreme heat, erratic winds and lightning strikes that have sparked a number of spot fires. flames continue to threaten rural communities near y rica, and more people are being forced to evacuate in the small community of climate river nearly every home in the town has burned to the ground. i watched her from my bedr
