miguel zargosa was rested at sjc. it's the third security breach at the airport this year alone. nbc pay area's marianne favro is there with more on exactly what happened and the mounting pressure on sjc to improve security. >> reporter: raj, this breach happened yesterday morning on the west side of the airport. airport officials say the man got onto a ramp and was nowhere near commercial flights. still, tonight passengers say they're worried. in addition to checking luggage, paerj passengers scrambling to catch flights are worried about security. yesterday san jose airport experienced its third security breach since march. the 39-year-old man was spotted on a ramp yesterday at atlantic aviation on the west side of the airport. employees detained him and called police, but zaragosa got away, stole a city maintenance truck like this one and drove all the way to the other side of the airport where he was arrested at terminal b. >> any time our security is threatened, you know, it could get serious. so yes, sure, we want to know that we are safe. >> reporter: airport leaders issued

it happened here at the private jet facility on the west side of sjc. 39-year-old was spotted walking around. authorities called police. but he ran away from the building into the parking lot where he spotted a city maintenance worker standing by his truck. >> he asked the maintenance worker for a ride to the terminal. the answer was no. and he proceeded to somehow get into the maintenance vehicle and drive on the street side to the airport terminal. >> police say he drove down coleman avenue in that stolen truck. made his way curb side to terminal b where he was arrested by police. they say he was acting strangely. possibly under the influence of drugs. >> the person who got his truck stolen, he is okay? >> yeah. there was no one hurt. >> maintenance crews call the indent scary, and it's not the first time. this security breach is the third this year. back in april a 15-year-old boy got on to the taxi boy and stowed away inside the wheel well of a hawaiian airlines jet surviving a five-hour flight to maui. in august, maryland hartman slipped pass security and boarding gate at sjc and

and as we mentioned, this marks the third security breach this year at sjc. muriel hartman was able to sneak past security without a ticket. she boarded a flight to los angeles and was arrested after she landed. she was also arrested when she was reported at sky harbor airport in phoenix. >> before that a 15-year-old boy called a fence, climbed into a wheel well and managed to survive a fly to hawaii. >> an unidentified surfer was last seen face down in the water yesterday afternoon near rockaway beach. they called off the search just before 10:00 last night. >> a teen-ager is recovering at a south bay hospital after a dramatic rescue. it started with a 17-year-old boy fell from a cliff. the boy tumbled 30 feet from eagle rock peak and then 70 feet more below the brush below. he was found in an area not accessible by helicopter. >> what really is unusual is for a person to have survived the fall. we're feeling good that this individual is conscious and talking. >> crews say the boy was conscious when they found him. he's recovering from his injuries. >> yeste
