sky. sky. the what? molecules. what do you suppose a little tiny, tiny, tiny ones will ring: high frequency or low frequency? high. high frequency. how about great, big ones? low. low frequency, okay? now, what are the size of the molecules in the sky, large or small? begin with a s. - small. - small. and then nitrogen and oxygen mostly, isn't that true. o2, n2. and when that sunlight comes beating down on those things, it scatters off, light scatters off. and it turns out the color of the sky is the color of all those little bells, all those little optical tuning forks, all those little vibrators. and they're vibrating at mostly, what frequencies, gang? high frequency. how many know what high frequency looks like to the human eye? blue. blue. and higher frequency even violet. let me tell you something, the sky really scatters off more violet than it does blue. but you know what? we're not so good at seeing violet. we're a lot better at seeing blue. so guess what our eyes tell us the color of the sky is? begin with

he said that something fell from the sky and straight into where he was fishing. this is my area this is where my fishing pond is usually every fish but it's got his own area for us fishing a fragment of meteorite and some other fragment fell down a huge teaser of ice and snow around just now there's something black lying down there george when. the meteorite exploded high in the sky and the fragments dispersed over dozens of kilometers. moscow scientists are yet to find all of these fragments. so when they do see and what height was it did it fly right over. in full like that i was aiming to lay down like that mighty trying to see anything really to stop the smoke. going up some of. them just enter that. direction of the highway that is no no no not the highway seemed like it was right above the school. and this is the reaction of the younger generation as to the incident. today we're trying to figure out the trajectory of the media. probably some of the locals have already collected some fragments. so now we're just scouting the central region for the meteorite

the dutch mountains because the landscape is so low that really you get these massive clouds in the sky and that is the kind of important topography to talk about. this is another example by the same artist and it is a winter scene, and as i move through these images of different paintings from various national schools. i don't want to talk too much over them but to let you feel how the atmosphere and the mood is changed by the different kinds of clouds that the artists have chosen to depict. and i wanted to also var clearly indicate it was interesting when putting together this powerpoint, i don't typically like to put any words on the images on the slides because i like the images in that way to speak for themselves, i feel like your eye competes between the words and images but i felt that it was important to differentiate between what is in our current exhibition and our permanent collection. so this is in the temporary exhibition as well. and then i wanted to let the paintings and the temporary exhibition and our permanent collection speak to each other and i started going through
