driving by started to see the flames along this hillside and called it in. the first firefighter on scene told me you could certainly see it against the night sky and took on aen that went up that is when really people started making a lot of phone calls and saying hey there is something pretty serious going on here. when they got here they were able to put it out quickly. they saw the power pole burned so they are trying to figure out if that had something to do with how it started. they are telling me the closest home to all this is about 100 feet away from where they actually stopped this fire so no homes are threatened right now. they had to take down a fence on one of those homes for their firefighterring efforts. right now the plan is these fire trucks are getting ready to pack up because they have kind of done all they can down here. there is a fire truck up on the top on the residential area working off a hydrant so they will keep that truck up there probably a little longer. they are trying to wrap up here in the next several minutes. it doesn't look like it is effecting traffic at this hour but they want to get this all out of here certainly before
