going on outside, show you the view first and for most on "skycam 3", blooms, beautiful view, grantedittle dreary, certainly, hey at least you can see them. able to see it earlier today. such low cloud deck and still obviously looks little damp. now we can say all right, first system pretty much done with our area. now that we sit between systems, we go next to our live neighborhood network shot, yes, it will stay somewhat dreary even as tomorrow, which we'll discuss. here you have it, you can tell, that the rain has dampened the sands outside beach patrol headquarters here in margate. at the moment, we've seen easily over an inch from last night and this morning's rain, in quite a few spots, for as long as one of them, hatfield, pick up just shy of an inch, the list goes on. obviously this is very short lived, pretty much everybody ended up with quite a bit of rain at some point through last night and this morning, but you can see it all starting to pull away. now, some clearing going on in the back side of this. i just don't think it will have a chance to get to us. you might see a

blue sky here in the weather underground skycam a network. as we take you to san francisco, the fog is returning throughout the golden gate bridge. that's a sign of larger changes to come our way. let's take you into the morning forecast for tomorrow and it could be a lot different than we've experienced the past four to five days. with all the warm weather and sunny skies across the bay area. tomorrow, fog returns to san francisco and 53. also, low clouds for the east way to the south bay. so do not expect a super sunny start for tomorrow. here's the deal. fog at the immediate coastline. it has dropped temperatures 9 to 16 degrees cooler. that's part one of the cooling coming this week. the second component is this area of low pressure offshore. it's not just going to move in and move out. we think this upper area of low pressure will hang out from tuesday to friday. so it will keep the clouds and some intermittent showers off and on, filtering in moisture. it's not going to be a lot in terms of rainfall. so what i want to show you next is h

rain drops on the lens of skycam 3. temperatures 72 degrees right now. winds out of the south relatively light. significants miles per hour. dewpoints are way elevated toward the 70 degrees mark. very humid as tropical moisture continues to saturates our atmosphere. a flood advisory for a large portion of the delaware valley. does include center city philadelphia. we could see localized flooding in poor drainage areas. and the culprit of course the moisture from the remnants of bonnie. what is left of the circulation is still over the carolinas still well far away that's not stopping all the moisture to flow up into our backyard. rainfall intensity is starting to pick up over the last hour or two across portions of the area now some of the heaviest rain falling across parts of center city philadelphia and south jersey and camden and burlington counties getting a good downpour, cherry hill, hains port and rain coming down pretty steadily we've picked up over an inch of rainfall across parts of delaware we're adding to that. chester county getting a good s

reflected, saw that in the area temperatures, but also, when we take you out to this shot, this is our "skycam 3" shot of ocean citiment doesn't that look inviting? my gosh. outside ocean city we go, cape may county, i wasn't shocked by this. i had a feeling we would see a lot of people out on the beach this afternoon. and sure enough, i'm jealous, guys, i'm just going to say it, super jealous of everybody that's out there now, so nice. what a perfect beach day. let's go to storm scan3, show you what's up at the moment. not a lot going on here locally. we have high pressure still on our side. it will continue to be on our side. and also, help warm things up in the next couple of days. certainly, from where we are today, already quite warm. additional rounds of severe weather as we saw earlier in the show, we saw that primarily through oak home arc portions of kansas yesterday, and off to the north in the higher planes, but still severe weather unoiled g out this way. keeping an eye on that, likely reporting on more later tomorrow. but, that said, we're getting ever closer to the beginning, the

fog issues on earlier on this morning through the western suburbs, right now we take you out to "skycam 3", and look at wide zoom of center city philadelphia. this scene taken from very own station headquarters, high atop the roof. we are seeing, again, sort of just mixed bag. you have some sun filtering through the clouds, some clouds obviously as well, but it is a dry day for everyone, which we have not been able to say, and really long time. at least but one day here this entire month so far. which is crazy, every single day otherwise has measured at least a trace of rain in philadelphia. let's go next to time lapse. we just talked about the fog there is was about 5:00 this morning, outside kutztown area middle school. as i put things into motion, take a look what happens. you can actually see the sun goes right up into the sky. that sun so critical helping to get rid of the fog which it certainly d if you look real close you probably saw the kids out there for recess, an hour or two ago, now, at this point, again, partly sunny skies, still overhead, we just talked about the fact tha

still falling, depending on shore location, at least along the coastal communities, we go next to "skycam 3", at our local headquarters, here, overlooking center city. look at this, sun's actually trying to break through the clouds, upper seven 70s, breeze out the south, dew point awfully high, higher the dew point shall more moisture rich, as we take you back in time on storm scan3, going all the way back to 6:00 p.m. last night, take a look at what happened. moisture builds in, once it get here it essentially doesn't stop. when you have the kind of heavy rain that rolls through here, through the overnight and this morning, that really led to a lot of not just accumulation, but messy travel out there, and flooding on roadways and whatnot. so you know if it had to come at all i suppose it is good it came on a holiday morning, didn't have typical rush hour, good thing, there will still like will be be periods of rain throughout the day at the shore, further inland, you are, it isn't quite the same scenario. i mention this moment ago. we may still finds some lingering showers out there as t

start off with live look at "skycam 3" from high atop hotel bethlehem, overlooking moravian campus, reallytty shot. but obviously not the brightest shot, lots every gray skies currently out there, and it is a little damp. certainly see wet weather has rolled through the area, very, very light showersment going next to one of the pocono cameras, up at blue mountain, and off in the distance no visibility problems certainly, but yes, won't find any snow? our mountain terrain, just looking at rainfall, even that , not causing much after nuisance. in margate, obviously, the brown or the darker brown indicating rain coming through. moving west to east from the central planes, through the mid-atlantic. where just close enough ending getting clipped from t where the clouds and rain come from, just that, light rain, through the rest of the day. falling now, and likely to justin for the rest of the midday, maybe mess with your p.m. drive. specially to the southern tear of our area. now it, has been really gross month of may, only actually had four dry days thus far, reported at philadelphia internat

we look at storm scan3, start off with "skycam 3", take a look, bethlehem, the tell tail signs, the sheen on the road surface here, outside moravian college, main street, off in the distance you can just barely make out the mountain in the distance, more than anything, it is because of the city light sort of reflecting on the clouds solo to the grounds out here. that said, you may run into some fog, but more than anything, it is the rain, really going to slow you down. let's go next to doppler estimation cents here from last 12 hours. we mention we had very strong thunderstorms, some of the folks that got hit the hardest across portions every western kent county herement look at this, even across the maryland state border doppler indication you pick up three plus inches or so, so that particular thunderstorm cell really packed a punch. however, the rain is still coming. we've got the moisture sort of getting drawn northeast here, that will continue to bring in additional round of rain. heaviest of which likely will fall through the southern delmarva peninsula, everyone will still run the

next to live look, "skycam 3", off in the distance look what's missing? you can't see any of the skyscrapers. so the clouds are very low, they're lying in very thick but regardless, at least it is not terribly chilly. at 49 degrees, dew point is at 45. so it is pretty saturated air mass, in other words, the closer that dew point temperature is to the actual air temperature, the more moisture rich the air mass is. and since we do have those numbers awfully close together, that means you have got again a lot of moisture to work with out there. so that said, don't be surprised if you see couple of showers out there, down the shore might ends up being more of periods of rain type of situation out there. so, expecting that these temperatures will have chance to moderate up, should hit 70 degrees in the city. regardless of that warmth, it is going to be at least a bit after dreary start for sure. meisha, over to you. >> going to be one of those mondays, all right, katie, thank you so much. good morning, everyone, well we will do it together regardless whatever

now, we take live look, classic example of it, outside we go to "skycam 3", live look overlooking spring garden and broad street. at the moment, yes, you can tell, there has been a lot of wet weather rolling through, as i mention, seeing the rain come through in pockets. there is actually flood warning right now, until 6 15, that's posted for philadelphia counties. central philadelphia counties. so, again, you will likely be running into some pockets of flooded roadways for sure, which meisha will have more on in a second. certainly seeing the rain still coming down in some areas. as we take you out to the live neighborhood network, tip he cannily able to see the center city skyline, you cannot, tell tail ren drapes, outside palmyra cove nature park at 68 degrees there, and very modest winds, if any, it feels like the tropics outside. understand bridge, because all of this moisture is actually coming courtesy of what had been tropical storm bonnie. so this is a tropical air mass, and that's why it feels so steamy outside. currently outside pleasant vade valley middle and high school ever

"skycam 3", wanted to show you the pocono shot, overlooking lake harmony, beautiful, just red streakse here, still obviously some cloud cover, as well, but there is a disturbance that's still rotating nearby, that's where the shower chance comes into play, in addition to that, because that system is nearby, you get this. lots and lots of fog. very patchy in nature. so where you have it, it is very dense. but, it is just that, very, very spotty in nature, off in the distance we typically see blue mountain, barely make out in the for grounds, the parking lot outside pleasant valley middle and high school. that said, here is a look at storm scan, the system we are talking becomes hey it, could be worse, drenching portions every central virginia right now, but just far enough away from that core of circulation that we really just have spotty hit and miss variety of showers currently most notable, across southern new jersey and delaware, then we are just completely clear across the rest of the even seaboards, out to the mississippi. high pressure will regain control here, as it rings in, i

you can see it, we showed it to you in "skycam 3" a moment ago, also behind me, still pretty low cloudout there, and that's essentially a region wide issue. so, let's take a look at one of the field cameras, that's where we start thing off here. this is outside burnville area where you have got a baseball diamond here in the distance, but yes, the whole region there, just shrouded in that very low-lying cloud deck. at the moment storm scan also pretty active at the more wide zoom here. you can see up through up-state new york, great lakes region, central pa included here, some pretty steady rainment some of this will be paying us little glancing blow here before the day is all said and done. you will see at least a little bit of sunshine here today. don't necessarily bank on dry one. scatter showers in the forecast, perhaps thunderstorm, specially any thunderstorms firing up this afternoon. current temperature readings definitely wanting jacket for sure. you are into the 40's, essentially region wide, in the low 50's at least through dover, wildwood, at this hour. as the day progresses

so that said, let's start it off with good news, live look at "skycam 3", not a single cloud in the skyt the airport over top of this. you're already at 60 degrees, and, with nice, low dew points right at about 40 degrees it, definitely is what i say just good hair day. you have very light win, very dry air mass, it looks great. storm scan, totally empty, will stay that way for the entire day, but not necessarily for much beyond that point. because our next storm does make it arrival here thomas early as late morning, the first raindrops will fall through the western half of our area. and once the rain starts, no matter where you are it, really isn't going to let up much any time the rest of the day, there will be pocket of heavier rain that roll through. we will get soaked it looks like by the time we hit sunday still residual showers, but definitely the drier of the two weekend days, even though dodging little bit of wet weather, meisha. >> enjoy today for sure. all right, thank you so much, tgif to you. now, this is where we did have an accident, tractor-trailer versus a car, blue ro
