the skycast 4, for most of the day we see sunshine. a few high clouds will be drifting over.y noontime, mostly sunny near washington. we'll have a few clouds coming in. and by 5:00 as we get dark, yeah, the sun sets at 4:58. just a few clouds will be coming through for the rest of the evening. and for the afternoon, absolutely delightful on the mall. everyone is getting ready for the concert arriving early. mostly sunny. you'll need your sunglasses with temperatures in the upper 60s. a gorgeous afternoon coming up. then this evening, under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. by 8:00 p.m., back down to the upper 50s. then by late evening as the concert ends, we'll be into the upper 50s. so still the mid to upper 50s. then bottoming out in the low 50s by dawn tomorrow. so a milder start. but a bit of a chill in the air on wednesday morning. then winds will pick up during the day tomorrow. highs will struck to make it to the low 50s. might get an afternoon shower on thursday. but then friday much colder with 20s in the morning. the afternoon highs in the mid-40s with lots of sunshine

skycast 4 paints the picture pretty well for us.g off at 4:00, and that's when the rain will start to move in. look what happens around 7:00 now. you notice the rain coming in here. and right around that 10:00, 11:00 hour in the city, is when we expect to see some of that snow developing. that snow coming down right on through the city hours. and this is the time between 11:00 and 2:00 where we could see some accumulation as far as the grassy surfaces. i'm not too worried about the roadways inside the beltway. how much are we going to see? 3 to 6 to the west. 1 to 3 around leesburg and damascus. less than an inch from the i-95 area to the west. so again, not a huge storm, but because it's happening tomorrow, this will have a big impact on your day. 40 degrees tomorrow, a high of 39 on thanksgiving. thursday and friday looking very, very chilly. and we are going to see a warming trend as we head into the weekend. >>> we like warming trends. thank you, doug. we also like football teams that win. but we don't have one, do we, dianna? >

how about skycast 4 for when the rain moves in?onight a very nice night, dealing with cloud cover tomorrow morning. we'll start off with the cloud cover around our region. but we'll have some breaks of sun, but a nice start to the day along the mall, looking pretty good around the city. and then we see the rain. here we are thursday, 7:00 a.m., notice how the rain is falling across the city and i think this will have an impact on our forecast and commute during the day on thursday. so that's something we'll be watching out for. so 70% chance of rain during the day thursday, and most likely earlier with a high of 67. and then we drop to 53 on friday and it will feel cooler than that. 54 on saturday, 55 on sunday. that's when our next chance of rain moves in. not a big chance, but this is another storm that will bring in cooler air as we make our way into early next week. highs next monday only around 52 degrees. so after a little bit of mild weather, we get back into the 50s. >> thank you, doug. >>> they can't put it off any longer.

so take a look at skycast 4 as we move through tomorrow. no problems downtown.re going to head down pennsylvania avenue towards lincoln memorial looking good with cloud cover. thursday morning we have a problem. and this is thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. and notice what's coming in here. that's going to be the rain. and i think we'll see a lot of rain during the rush hour. so rush hour morning commute could be a little problem around 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 on thursday. i think the bulk of the rain will fall in the first part of the afternoon. and then by late in the evening, we should begin to clear out. 67 degrees or for a high thursday. 70% what happens of rain early in the day. and breezy conditions and cold. 53 for a high temperature, but with a 10 to 20-mile-an-hour wind, will feel like temperatures in the 40s friday. saturday a high of 54 degrees. and sunday, well, sunday we have another system that moves in. temperatures go up to about 55. but then behind that system, which will give us a shower or two, we get chilly again with a high of only 52 degrees on monda
