people were coming to the city have a place to live affordable as of late they've been turned into slrldz and i have seen those check and make sure their classified as a hotel we should prohibit those are i've seen 2 happen literally two doors down. >> commissioner johnson. >> thank you. i don't want to make this item will short-term rentals but i feel a need to comment from the public comment and the commission when we had our discussion we discussed this specific topic and the city attorney multiple times to make sure we're staipg only track for things proper and one of the things not sure about legislation but many contempters we are representing representatives of building owners or property owner and we've not seen the late of short-term rentals legislation but many opportunities to go back generally speaking the bigger issue not putting more and more restrictions but the restriction is there that's the issue can we count those 90 days and make sure their primary resident are the ones renting out we can't add on more restriction just want to make that point i'll make a motion to appr
