smokey robinson says none of the stars from 25 years ago took part this time arnold.d-new slate of stars. just you and me. >>> as toyota gets ready to fix the dangerous gas pedals in the cars, many people are asking what took them so long to take action. jennifer westhoven is here. good morning. >> good morning, robin. you can see toyota on the air, the executives saying we're sorry. we let you down. we are doing everything we can to fix it. why did it take them so long? it's starting to be asked. how did toyota handle this? 19 people died in crashes when their toyota sped up out of control. the nooi no "the new york times" reports it was only after an experienced driver died. a california, off duty police officer died. it was then toyota stepped up the inquiry. it already received more than 2,000 complaints of run away cars. in the meantime, toyota says there's no electronic problems. toyota is saying the shim is going to fix it. the government is not satisfied about that. they are continuing to look into whether or not there may be a problem with the throttle. back
