rain then snow. those areas getting more snow north and west of the city. winds strong at 15 to 20 miles per hour. gusts up to 35 miles per hour. these temperatures will be cold, 35 to 39 degrees. our current weather now shows a mass of moisture in the area as the lows are making their way up the eastern seaboard. you can see that rain-snow line. the higher elevations getting all the snow. the lower elevations getting all rain. once these move up the eastern seaboard and winds witch out of the northwest, canadian air pushes the wind in. that gives us better chances of seeing snow in the greater baltimore area. anywhere from a trace to $2 inches in the area associated with the storm. there will be more as you go out west and up north into pennsylvania. futurecast again tells the same story as rain pretty much all day. then around 6:00 we see our best chance of winds coming strong out of the northwest. you can see from northern baltimore county over to all points west it looks like all snow. get ready in those areas for a nice, white evening, if you will. the
