this was of course snowmageddon that fell on parts of our region upwards of 18 inches in d.c. towards the dulles region. you know what happened. we saw school closures for a couple days by far one of the worst storms we've seen in our history around our area and that just closed out the 2009-2010 season as the snowiest season we've seen in this area. for you snow lover, yeah not a whole lot of snow going on in the next couple days but a lot of our snowstorms still come in the month of february or even early march so we still have time. now, outside today it's the wind. take a look at the -- i almost said the snowcaps on the water. that's how much i want snow. the white caps out there today. a little bit of wind for sure. take a look at what the wind is doing. 30 degrees, but that windchill at 16 right now. it is brutal outside, especially downtown through some of those taller buildings. actual temperatures 23 in gaithersburg 25 in martinsburg, 31 in fredericksburg. so a far cry from where we were during the day yesterday. it's all because of the winds. gusting upwards of 30 mi
