so they probably did not run into. so once we can see where they are we have this idea they go to the same place over and over then we can find that pattern so this is what they said were important in their lives in the circles where we decided were important locations. these are pretty close. it doesn't matter if somebody works from home or how far the commute they are important locations in their life. you are defined by where you go. if you choose four random points from a data set that is enough to identify 95% of the users. only two points will identify 50% using the locations only the zip code is enough to identify half of the people. so just a little bit of outside data like a facebook profile or twitter feed is enough to go from a location to a person. so that coupled with the less obvious fact we can get the social network that means if we are tracking a particular user we can then identify who their friends are by looking at who they are calling because their friends can be recognized just by looking at their
