i virtually did the restoration myself except so you don't want that in your shop. but i did all the prep work for it, but the car was in quite good shape so it didn't require a lot of body work or anything like that. this car, on the low end would probably be around $50,000, the high end would be about $60,000. it'll be somewhere in that market. there's been a fair amount of interest in it, so i suspect that it'll be in that dollar range. it's kind of worth that also, that's what they get for these kinds of original, red convertibles. let's take a view of my '71 lt1 corvette here. there's some interesting facts about this car. it is a fairly rare car. this is a lt1 engine. it's properly detailed everywhere correct. all the finishes are correct. all the hoses, they all have the right part numbers. this is an original engine, so it has the original carburettor on it. it's very rare, it has its original smog system or air system, you don't normally see that on a car this age. most of them have been thrown away this car is unique because it has power steering and power
