so, m.t.a. did s.f. park using pricing to more effectively manage on-street parking, and it's been quite successful. we also studied more aggressive pricing for offstreet parking as the business community suggested and found that it would be only half as effective as congestion pricing for moving vehicles. for treasure island, it's another place with very limited auto capacity, and we're planning there a comprehensive package of pricing incentives, investments, and alternatives, plus programs to mitigate impacts. we're learning from treasure island in ways we could apply downtown. we also experimented with incentives with the b.a.r.t.s perk programs, and they work. small cash rewards got 10% of peak riders going through the tube during peak hours to shift their commute times. and then we've also, as was mentioned earlier, been studying the potential for pricing on express lanes and the lombard. so while we didn't start implementing pricing, san francisco has put it into our plans and policies. it's been

so this past july,, we had our enrolment campaign, enrolling 25,000 commercial customers. our main message was that clean power s.f. gives you the power to choose cleaner energy options for your business at a competitive price. the word -- these are just commercial customers. our messages were focused around that type of customer. some of the strategies we took on, we took advantage of the required mailings. we leverage local and regional media outlets and use existing p.u.c. and city communication channels. greetings enlisted clean energy movement influencers targeted customers ahead of time. we engaged business organizations and we also put together a paid digital media campaign. going through each of those, we did new enrolment notices. we are already required to send these out so we wanted to make sure we could tailor them to make them attractive and educational for the people who got them. we sent for waves in a may through august and mailed a total of almost 93,000 of these out to customers. we had a goal of next of getting coverage to educate businesses and residents about the program and encourage upgrades

natives and so our digital inclusion needs are different than older adults so that's something -- i've been able to attend a couple of s.f. tech council meetings which i've been grateful to attend. i wanted to keep in mind the needs are different between older adults and those of us who are 18-35 or 45. the second thing i want to say is a lot of the implement programs that i see within disability employment are entry level with no pass for advancement. there's been a lot of talk today about losing benefits. if we're not providing people with long-term sustained employment, at competitive salaries, then there's no incentive there to want to switch over to that. the third thing i'll say is that earlier this year, i actually piloted a program to train people with disabilities to learn about sales force software. over the next five years, they're going to be three million jobs created with not enough people to fill those and so we've done the pilot. it was sold out. we partnered with the california department of rehabilitation. we're actually looking for some energy, a couple more people to kind of buy into turn this program

so the first thing i want to talk about is the next mixer. the s.f. outdoor events network which is coming up tuesday, november 7. and right now we have a hold on el rio. it looks like it's going to be there, so that will be fun. but the theme of this one is how event producer cans leverage the revenue and technology. and so we have a couple of really great events and tech companies doing presentations and doing a little panel. first one is called quartek. and the c.e.o. based here and they are one of the leading event tech companies that provides wi-fi structure for lalapalooza and major, high-profile events. and then the other person is scott la val who is v.p. of guidebook. guidebook is a company that creates tools for event producers to, for example, create an app. you don't have to hire an app designer. you can use a template, for example. so i am excited to have them both come to the table about innovations and best practices. things that some of these smaller nonprofits may think are out of their budgets and out of their range and may actually b

so why is old methodology being used to calculate transportation impacts? impacts assess were based on outdated motion denied ellig from sf champ and the 2002 s.f. guidelines that did not studied t.n.c.'s. these used a methodology based on analysis by a study done for sf planning in september of 1 1980. delivery vehicle impacts are vastly understated by the relines on these outdated guidelines, and according to a recent report from the sfcta, 51% of the city's traffic congestion and 51% of e.m.t. measured from 2010 to 2016 is attributed to t.n.c. ride hails. these impacts are particularly acute in urban areas, including the mission, and they throw into question the accuracy of using v.m.t. analysis. a recent global traffic score card shows that as of 2017, san francisco driving is now ranked fifth most congested in the world. are there appropriate community benefits in this project? are there adequate community benefit overall, such as pedestrian-bicycle safety measures, open space, affordable housing production, to offset the cumulative impacts of this project? this project includes bicycle storage for residents, but there is no adequate bicycl

so it allows for seamless movement of information, and it allows for discussion, and it keeps them appraised as to what's going on specifically within the district. vision zero s.f. of course, the goal is to reduce traffic fatalities to zero by the year 2024. taraval station traffic enforcement continues to be a priority in the district, and we have identified areas to focus on, and our focus on the five violations are listed above, and that would be yield to pedestrians, red lights, yield to approaching vehicles, stop signs, and speed. what we do is we varied our locations depending on our statistics. our most recent example would be 19th and slote, lake merced, and brotherhood, lake merced and sunset boulevard. brotherhood and arch, but we're always focused on ocean avenue, slote boulevard, sunset boulevard, and 19th avenue, given they are major thoroughfares. to date, the officers have written 4,177 citations to date. let's move on to the goals for 2018-2019. overall goals, crime reduction. of course, that's first and foremost. reducing both violent and property crimes. second would be traffic collision reduction, as i mentioned, we're engaged with the focus
