social security needs more money. we are past the moment that we were in the and in the eighties and as recently as the trump administration in talking about how to cut benefits and raise revenues that were passed that people don't have enough, there's no room to cut social security. the average benefit is about 1100 dollars a month. now, that hasn't kept up with what people need. so just stop talking about raising benefits. cutting benefits. so we need more revenue. so that we can pay full benefits, starting. in 2034, just, you know, ten years from now, nine years from now. and we need to lift up the bottom benefits of moments of that's just a given. that's well worn territory. lots of ways to do it. what's new in my book and my career has been about is like fixing that. that employer provided private sector tear. we need to have people in pensions accumulating money during their working lives. that money has to be invested well and that money has to be have an option to be paid out in a lifetime benefit in a way tha
