a flash flood warning for somerset thankfully the union county has been allowed to expire because the waters are receding there. a lot of the energy is being transferred to the west. warren county and parts of the catskills, parts of sullivan to western ulster county getting heavier rainfall. this is the cell finally beginning to weaken as it traverses parts of morris county. this was over part of the same areas for hours on end dropping up to 4 inches of rain on u.s. 22 in western parts of union, extreme eastern parts of somerset and that's why we had so many flooding reports. south and west of mansfield, not far from the pennsylvania border moving into pike county, pennsylvania. you can expect minor flooding there as well. a lot of moisture over the eastern part of the country. a big moisture pump from the gulf of mexico. eventually this will be concentrated on a frontal system during the day friday. that front will be stalled over the tri-state region. in the meantime, everything west of the city will weaken when we lose the daytime heating. during the day tomorrow, not expecting w
