i think some streets might lend themselves to those, but some streets bike should be discouraged because of th intense amount of traffic that's going to go on through and already does through that area. the final issue i had, gi noticed yesterday when i was walking from the ball game for muni at king street ~ is a little difficult because it's such a busy intersection with pedestrians, with traffic coming off of 280, even if 280 is some day changed to a surface area, it's going to be the same amount of traffic. and i really think that muni should consider a gradient situation where they bring muni underneath king to be able to make it -- you know, they're building a subway, but it's going to be a bottleneck there at that point because it's going to take forever to get through king street. and i think that would be something they should consider as part of the plan. there's so much being spent already that it would make it a lot more pleasant, make it safer for pedestrians who are going to caltrain, at least as long as the station is there. so, those are my main comments just in general.

in fact, neuroscientists themselves call some of those scans and some of those studies, this is your brain on this, you know, in the newspaper, this is your brain on that blobbology. that's their name for it. i don't doubt that some of these factors play some kind of a role. others have made the argument, i think, quite well. if you are a young conservative scholar there are a few places on campus where you might look to young conservative students for a career. but in terms of putting up with advisers and so on, there may not be very many. so it is probably going to play some kind of a role here. as to the claim or bias or discrimination, the arguments that are in the book that when we conducted this field experiment for which we took a lot of flak and sent e-mails from fake undergraduate students in programs in college, each person got two e-mails. one mention mentioned that the students have either worked on the mccain or the obama campaign and the other dimension is about politics. so it was otherwise comparable. we analyzed the responses we received or been received. we found a very tiny levels of support for the obama students relative to control. not enough to be statistically significant. is this a good test of bias is what the question is. but wh
