sonni: i am sonni abatta. this all happened sunday at a relative's home in orange county. holly bristow has the latest. reporter: investigators tell me that they teen died sometime within the last 24 hours and this is now considered a death investigation by the orange county sheriff's office. now, take a look at, deputies say the teen was shot in a bedroom at this house around 1:00 sunday afternoon. the two 18 year olds knew there was an secured gun in the room, found it and were horsing around when the fatal shot was fired. >> our homicide squad will be going through and seeing what happened and trying to figure out if more charges should be filed or if the possession of a firearm by a convicted felony is enough of a charge against this individual. sonni: investigators say the gun and is is convicted felon. at this point they are unsure whether or not he will be charged with anything else or whether the two 18 year olds playing with the gun will be charged. we will let you know when we get updates on this case. for now reporting at the orange county sheriff's office. bob:
