we have seen some pretty good rain in sonoma county. you can see the gray skies over the bay with this system weakening as it moves through but it has arrived. jeff nelson is asking about the rain in june, northwest petaluma, .30. that has pretty good. 54 degrees, very impressive weather station and thank you for that. in the last six hours, and it keeps going. still rain over there in petaluma but some clearing is taking place to the north and to the west. this system is slowly working its way to the south but still mainly north of the golden gate. we talked about that and it looks like it will eventually write for parts of the peninsula, east plains south bay but not much left when it does. it is here for the morning hours only but look at that cool air spilling in behind this with the water vapor satellite showing this very well. watch this low, spinning in the atmosphere and moving to the north as this front moves to the south and stretching out, losing its energy source and weakening. it will be a breezy and blustery day with that

a boarding school clinical director appeared in sonoma county court today.s after 39-year-old kevin thorpe was arrested saturday... for allegedly sexually molesting a young boy multiple times between 2006 and 20-11. thorpe works at the hanna boys center in sonoma...where police believe some of the crimes took place. the victim is now a 23-year-old man, but was a minor when he was a student at the boys center. the sonoma county sheriff's office says the victim came forward now because he fears there may be more victims. (sot) sgt. spencer crum/sonoma county sheriff's office- "we certainly believe there could be some out there. he's, uh, heavily involved with his church. he runs a for teenagers and its uh, there's a likelihood that there could be additional victims out there." thorpe is facing multiple sex charges... including three felony counts of forcible oral copulation with a minor. he did not enter a plea during his arraignment today. he is due back in court on the 27th. meanwhile, he has been placed on unpaid administrative leave at the hanna boys cente
