i'm jeff bush at the sonoma county jail in santa rosa, kron four news. no sizable aftershocks yet. following a magnitude 3- point-6 earthquake that hit only 10 miles north of napa last night. it happened just after nine o'clock, closer to yountville. witnesses say they felt minor shaking for just a few seconds. no reports of any damage or injuries from the earthquake. there were a couple of 5- point-2 magnitude aftershocks in chile this morning. and a 6-point-1 last night. the military is keeping order as people line up for supplies. repeated aftershocks have shaken buildings and sent people running into the streets in the largest city closest to the epicenter. tuesday's 8-point-2 magnitude quake left six people dead. new information on the shooter at fort hood. officials say specialist ivan lopez saw a psychiatrist last month, but showed no sign of any likely violence to himself or others. now.authorities say there is a strong possibility lopez had an argument with at least one soldier right before wednesday's shooting. lopez killed three people at fort hood. and wounded 16 others

now the sonoma county sheriff's office has to figure out how it got there -- and how the man died. deputies say, a preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play. an autopsy is set for friday. the body has been identified as that of a 39-year-old man. but his nameis not being released until deupties can find his family. in a lawsuit filed claimed he is the biological father of teen suicide victim audrie pott. and that audrie's legal parents. falsely claimed to be the teen's sole heirs. michael lazarin argues, he should be included in a wrongful death lawsuit, as her father. 15 -year old audrie pott committed suicide in 20-12. after being sexually assaulted and photographed by three male classmates at a high school party. later, pott's parents filed suit against the boys' parents for damages. lazarin says, he expects his case to be combined with the potts' lawsuit. and that his intention for filing the suit. is not for money but quote - "to bring closure to me and my faimly." an oakland teen considered for acceptance to more than a dozen of the nation's best colleges has made

for the sonoma county supervisor. accused of peeking into a woman's apartment. efren carrillo is accused of prowling outside a neighbor's home in santa rosa. he was initially arrested on suspicion of the attempted burglary of a woman's apartment back in july. police say he was wearing only socks and underwear at the time. in the east bay. growing concerns about whooping cough. after health officials confirm a case of the disease. at an elementary school in martinez. contra costa health services says, a 9-year-old student was recently diagnosed with the highly contagious disease. last friday, morello elementary school parents. received notice from martinez unified school district. officials are also concerned about the spread among infants. "so we've had 4 babies hospitalized this year so far this year, last year we had two babies hospitalized with whooping cough so definitely we want to prevent any other casesbabies can suddenly stop breathingprotected with vaccines" school officials say, so far, just the one case has been reported. contra costa health services
