this now sitting just on the border of sonoma county.e are seeing some of the rain from this right now just on the mendocino-sonoma county line. if we come back to the wide view is switch now from the high depth doppler and put it into futurecast and played ahead, there is 1:30 am. now we are getting into sunday morning. this is when we start to see the better bands up there. this is now 3 am. this is when the best of the organize rain comes there. but it quickly falls apart as it moves across the rest of the bay area. the we will see light rain from this as we get into the very early morning hours of sunday. even as late as 8:00, 9:00, maybe a sprinkle or two in the self-pay. by the time we get to 1 pm it is clear. you are going to get more blue sky for most of sunday. a littl damp if you step outside before about 10 am. if we look at the rainfall totals they are not big. these are not going to help at all with those tallies that a just showed you from the october 1. and once we finish this this one, they are not any. the 7-day-forecast

because driving on 101, this is what you're going to be facing here for driving on 101 in sonoma countythrough heelsburg and windsor. and pretty much it all looks like this. it's not going to be great driving and you might want to consider doing something else or perhaps if you have the flexibility to work from home today. that's sometimes not possible i know. but i'm just going to say it. now if you look at the commute here, southbound highway 1 near manor drive in pacifica still closed between skyline and manor. the best way to get to pacifica is to use sharp park road. if you head down on northbound you can get through southbound, you can't. the peninsula traffic is getting busy on 280 and if you look at the east bay commute we do see traffic that's a little slow. westbound bridge is backed up to the maze. and 880 is not too slow. we do see traffic that's going to be all right on highway 24. as you can see in these pictures as we go to steve, the rain hasn't moved into that area, steve. >> it's almost there. it's very heavy north as you just showed and it's also snowing. looks like t

the rain will be pushing south ward down into parts of sonoma county and points farther south by 9:00re showers south and east of the golden gate. then during the overnight hours, around 5:00 a.m. or so, at that point we'll see a few spotty showers near the coast. as i pointed out before, there may be wet spots in the roadways, but this storm will be pretty much windsing doing down. we'll expect rainfall totals to be not much more than hundredeths of an inch. lows will be in the low to mid 40s. in the north bay, a little chillier, mid to upper 30s there and tomorrow's highs will generally be in a pretty narrow range there, 56, 57 at the coast. 57, 58 degrees in most locations near the bay and inland. here's seven-day forecast. tomorrow night and into early thursday, we may have another wave of light showers, much like we expect tonight. we'll give that storm a ranking of one on the storm impact scale. look for mainly dry but chilly day on friday. then on saturday, more spotty showers. and this unsettled pattern resumes next monday. for the next week or so, we can expect periods of lig
