we're looking at probably closer to a third of an inch to a half inch in northern sonoma county and a drop off in numbers as you head south. most of the bay area seeing a quarter inch or less. from tuesday through friday, storm track moves to the north, north of sonoma county, and fortunately where weekend plans are concerned, the best chances of finding rain widespread will be next weekend. for saturday, similar to the storm we'll see on tuesday in terms of rainfall. but it's actually next sunday where the rain totals may get up a little bit higher than what we're seeing on tuesday and saturday, notice the saturday rain totals on par with the tuesday storm for the most part. then you add in sunday and now you see the two-day totals could get close it an inch of rain in santa rosa and a third of an inch. next weekend, i think we will also see return of the snow to the sierra. winter storm watches coming back for next sunday. overall, tuesday looks to be the wettest day of the workweek ahead. showers moving north. temperatures climbing a little bit. and we think of a more active weeken

there right now futurecast shows you that by 06:00am we do have moderate showers up in northern sonoma county. rainfall push into marine county off and on throughout the early course of the morning. u know the showers pretty spotty for the north bay for much of the morning will be till afteoon that we really start to see widespread rainfall pushing in for the rest of the baarea, 1245 right here some light rainfall to moderate showers in the peninsula portions of the east bay and up into the north bay showers spreafurther south after that point you'll see isolated pockets for rainfall picks up. but it will be widespread through the afternoon ahead and this is going to have an impact on your tail end of the day with a areas of rainfall lingering through your evening commute tonight, 05:30pm light moderate and even isolated spots of heavier showers pushing through by the time your evening commutes over rainfall will be pushing out as well that sets us up for a dry rest of the forecast around the corner but enough rainfall today to definitely complicate things right there in the middle your day.
