seeing the biggest difference is a lot of our valleys around the bay area from the napa valley, sonoma valleye those temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s as we go into thursday as well as the end of the week. so here's the cold front right now, dipping just south of the bay area. you can see those clouds and some clearing to the north. a heads up there will be showers, possibly thunderstorms for elevations to our north as well as over the sierra, where we could see these thunderstorms popping up and kind of winding down as the day winds down as well. so, as we take a look at an area closer to home, walnut creek, our temperatures in the low 70s, we'll be in the upper 60s for the end of the week and only reaching 70 degrees throughout the rest of the weekend. so once again, much cooler temperatures, and it seems like last year at this time it was really hot already at this point. and we are going to have a big difference compared to last year, where we're going to see temperatures in coastal areas in the low 60s, and we will see more clouds along the coastline heading into the weekend. so

there is a project in sonoma valley, for example, there is other systems they have in the city, pipes and things, they have a lot of ground to cover. it crosses two fault they have to make seismic upgrades. there are just a lot of infrastructure investments they plan on making and have added the extra cost. if they do not do that rate increase they estimate they will run out of cash, essentially, if they do make the investments. julian: and the year they could run out of cash is 2025. do you have any sense of what could happen at that point if the rate increase does not go through next week and they run out of money in a couple of years? >> they have not taken out some of the other loans they planned to do so it has not been, the debt is not there yet but they plan on doing it so if the rate increases don't go through they will have to adjust their plans to make sure the system lasts another 100 years. julian: next week they are voting on it and then there is the ability for folks to weigh in. >> yes. they will weigh in on tuesda 1:30 p.m. and if you want your protest to be formally c

sonoma 67, and 63 degrees in mill valley. now, here's what's coming our way. we've been talking a lot about this, warm temperatures surging in as high pressure builds, and we're also going to see that stick with us for a few days. but with the position of this high pressure, it always has a clockwise wind flow, well, we could start to see showers developing to our east, and it's possible that some of that could be pushed into the bay area as that high pressure brings in more of a westerly wind flow for us. but we'll be watching out for that for the end of the weekend. a lot of people will be heading to the coastline where you can find some much cooler temperatures. take a look at half moon bay. we're going from highs in the upper 50s to low 60s for saturday and sunday, and that's going to be happening while our inland valleys are going to be hitting 90 degrees on saturday. now, on mother's day, we will have a slight chance of an isolated storm coming in. we're going to be watching out for that. once again, that weather pattern with the storms possibly drifting

valley believe it or not, you're kind of looking out that way across the bay all the way over to valet ho and fairfield towards fairfield, anyway, happened towards napa and up and towards sonomathat's how good the visibility is. that's how good their quality is. when you get a little bit of rain. now there's some patchy coastal fog. there's a lot going on out in the pacific. this system here, kind of right in here. kind of see it the green. that's the system that brought the showers this morning. it is since moved on up into the mountains, where it's dropping a little bit of hail or grapple. i've had reports of that up around lake tahoe and then up higher. you're probably seeing, uh, snow. i would suspect that the higher elevations on the peaks these are the right now. temperatures you've got fifties and sixties highs tomorrow are going to be a lot like today. in other words, we're not saying that it's may we should see temperatures much warmer than we are seeing, but they're not going to show up until later on this weekend or later on in the week towards thursday, friday, saturday and sunday when temperatures will get up into the eighties and maybe low nineties, especially i
