let me bring in contributor and professor victoria francesca soto.pact on what the court decides? >> i don't know about what the court decides, jose but my hope is that these larger stories will impact our politicians and move them to find a resolution. we did see the effect of human stories with the issue of gay marriage. we have seen a change in public opinion across the country when we see that it's not just an abstract concept of gay marriage but actually families. same thing with immigration. we're talking about families and when we're confronting the opposition to immigration with many republican members of our community, we need to keep reminding them this is about family values. we know the gop talks a lot about family values keeping the vazquez family together keeping the alvarado family together it is ultimately family values. >> this of course comes back to where you are, texas. what solution does the governor of that state have for the people affected by this lawsuit? >> yes, well the governor says he's very concerned, given the location
