the video shows a man trying to steal the robot from a south bay restaurant. it happened around 11orning at a restaurant on south king road in san jose. just check them out there. he picks it up, takes the delivery robot outside, tries to stuff it into his suv. then you see those two workers come out right and they take it from him. they take the robot out of his arms. the man then gets in his suv and drives off. san jose police are now looking into this odd attempted theft. all right. have you seen the red curb? someone's been painting curbs in san francisco without permission. this is all about the new law that took effect a few weeks ago. at the beginning of the year. it's called daylighting, and it bans cars from parking within 20ft of a marked or unmarked crosswalk. many of those parking zones are now marked with the red curb. you see it there. recently, though, someone took some red paint and painted the curb at balboa and 18th in the richmond district, extending the redness, if you will, past the 20 foot limit. they even used a convincing sfmta stencil to make it look legit.
