bay is wet, the peninsula and then through about noontime. look at the heavy rain there over in oakland, the peninsula down around redwood city, still lighter showers in the southby 2:00. we've got scattered showers, the focus in the north bay, and by 7:00 there's a bit of a break. but then the rain comes back throughout your sunday. this is a level one system on sunday, so unfortunately it's not a dry day. we'll see the scattered showers. and then as this lifts to the north, it gives us a needed break because what's coming in later on monday, the afternoon the evening commute will be more heavy rain. in fact, another level two into monday night and tuesday as this system will bring anywhere from another additional inch to two inches. but let's start with today anywhere from 2/10 to a half inch from the peninsula, the south bay and east bay. this is through sunday early morning, and then by sunday night into early monday morning, we've got an inch and a half in the north bay and still upwards of over a half inch into the east bay, lesser amounts in the south bay. here comes that next atmospheric river that will be about at two into tuesday, and that's 2 to 3in

in the south bay, santa clara city officials have finalized the contracts for the 2026 fifa world cup. the city council approve some agreements with the burial host committee and the forty-niners host committee will take up the costs for the 6 world cup matches at levi's, including a 25 million dollar price tag to bring the fields of 2 fifa regulations. the city will not be paying a dime to upgrade levi stadium that was brought on by voters passing measure j that prevents the city from spending money on the facility. the host committee will reimburse the city for any equipment that spot specifically for the world cup. and in the event that the host committee cannot pay, the reimbursement will come from the forty-niners field. construction is already underway. in developing news. mexico is now it's threatening to sue google over then a dispute over the gulf of mexico. mexico's government has announced that it wants google to for google to fully restore the name gulf of mexico on its google map services. mexico's president says a letter from a google official indicates that google will
