all of this started to push towards the south into southern california. you can clearly see the pressure clearing in the north bay, and this will continue as that moisture plume pushes towards the south tonight. tomorrow, it will move back up towards the north. so, this is why we have been getting these breaks. as the heavy rain is over, and then it moves south, and then moves back north. we have a low here, and it's going to bring us quleaf rain as we head into wednesday. overnight tonight, continue with scattered showers, some pockets of clear here and there out there, but tomorrow morning, as that moisture plume moves to the north again, we'll see the moderate rain start to break out. heavy rain off and on throughout the course of your monday, and then by late tomorrow afternoon, even tomorrow night, it's starting to thin out. so we might be able to see part of the eclipse tomorrow evening inch the sierra, the snow total still piling up. some of the moisture is starting to abate. only eight to 16 inches at lake level tomorrow. strong gusts, close to 55

and you look at the clouds slipping south, they are getting hard in southern california.e're getting our rain showers. there's the snow up in the mountains. if we back out, we look at the same scenario. i talked about this last week. this is about as active a pacific as you can get. we do notice look at the subtropical jet or the southern moisture. it was here. it's dipping south. it's hammering southern california right now. that's -- we're kind of out of that target zone. we will get an impulse through here, but it may not have as much tropical moisture with it. the amounts of rain it could have been, it will still be rain and be stormy and windy, and maybe a thundershower, but you're not going to see as much rain due to the fact that the main plume has diverted south. here's how it breaks out. tonight you have the showers. tomorrow, partly sunny, it's not a bad day. you're going to see the sunshine a little bit, and sprinkles, probably right around the afternoon commute, some sprinkles will start. late night, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, it will get rainy. there's more storms
