winter made it's return to a part of the country some people might not associate with snow....southe rn california. the higher elevations in mt. laguna saw about two inches of snow stick to the ground yesterday. temperatures were cold enough for the snow to stick around and give children a chance to go sledding. laguna is about six thousand feet above sea level so it can snow heavily on the mountain during the winter months. it's also a popular skiing location for people in the area. people in garland texas are beginning the clean up process in hopes of returning to normalcy after devastating tornados blew through north texas last weekend. officials are saying more than 200 hundred homes were left uninhabitable by the e-f-4 tornado, which packed winds in miles per hour, hit garland. more than 700 homes were damaged in all. at least eight other tornados touched down in the dallas, texas area last saturday. the storm claimed eight lives in garland --- the youngest victim just one-year-old. at least three others were killed in other area cities. winter f foding has caused havav throughout parts of th
