because south central l.a. is probably synonymous with the most inner-city neighborhoods in the world. finding coyotes here is just-- just amazing to me and exciting every time i'm able to collelect some more scacat. here in south l.a. wetlands, there's proof that coyotes use this area because i'm finding coyote scat inside these fences. coyotes are species that most people know live in the l.a. area, but people think that they live in the mountains-- mountainous areas or griffith park, where there's more open space, but really don't think of them as animals able to adapt to this type of landscape.
