dallas. there's a whole series of storms coming into the south survived dallas. and with those, we will get some wind and some hail. that's exactly what we're at. that dark area is where the hail and the rain is dumping out of the base of that cloud. we've gotten a number of reports of large hail. we've heard about the damage from the tornadoes. now those two tornadic storms, those rotating storms on the north side of town. one of them, very close to carrollton right now and moving up toward the 35 east corridor. another of them moving away from garland. there is yet another storm behind that showing some sign of rotation. that's not uncommon in a case like this. when you've got an environment that favors rotating storms. when you've got the wind shear and the low level humidity. oftentimes you will get multiple storms. the two most dangerous storms are now moving away from dallas and ft. worth in their wake. at least for the time being. what we appear to be looking at is more of a wind and hail threat coming toward dallas and ft. worth. >> we know the tornado to

it may take a couple days before we know just how, but the worst of it seems to be here in south dallas county in the city of lancaster. let me show you what we've got behind here. two cars parked in the street, one across the street from the other after the tornado had gone through, both cars thrown into this house. there was a 19-year-old girl inside that house huddled in a closet on the phone to her folks when the phone went dead. the good news is she got out all right unhurt. in fact, that is kind of the story of this whole storm, very, very few injuries. we're told there are about 10 injuries here in lancaster, two of those serious, dozens of people are in shelters now and a bit of a problem with let's. the dallas county sheriff told us live not long ago that they had people out here shortly after the tornado went through that were apparently up to no good, apparently in the process of beginning to loot. since then both the sheriff's department and the lancaster police department has locked this place down. you have to get through multiple checkpoints just to get in here. there wil
