one suggests rain for south jersey and delaware bay region, others do not. monday morning could be wet across south jersey and delaware. during the afternoon, everybody sees the cold front. if you don't get the rain in the morning, everybody will see the cold front during the late afternoon hours, that will trigger showers and storms. some of the storms could be on the heavier side. gusty winds, maybe winds up to 50, 55 miles per hour and drenching downpours shown by the reds and the oranges. one or two storms could be strong to possibly severe. that takes us into tuesday, an upper level low sits over top us. monday a mainly cloudy day, tuesday, mostly cloudy, wednesday, thursday, friday, we see the clouds dissipate and get into sunshine. here's the anticipated rainfall totals. it depends on where the heaviest downpours set up. some locations up to 2 inches. others if you don't see a downpour, quarter inch to a half inch. yesterday we topped out at 77. today, 82. winds are light out of the south at 5 to 15 miles per hour. this is the trouble spot in the viewi

we go farther south, there's another area with a ton of lightning moving right now into delaware. see almost hitting dover. over the bay and into south jersey, all right cutting through areas like middletown. smyrna at 5:30. and areas like -- right around 6:00, some of that heaviest rain should kip the bay. we're looking at these lines holding together. this is a powerful cold front moving through. in some areas temperatures have dropped 20 degrees. the pink that you see respect that's a severe thunderstorm watch across the entice viewing zone, because anywhere could see that storm pop. but look at the area in yellow. right now in parts of philadelphia county and through to south jersey, we have that yellow shaded area under a warning. that means severe thunderstorms are happening form the same deal over parts of delaware, it's happening and will be happening as we progress through the next half hour to hour. let's look at the temperature gradient. as i mentioned, a huge difference. this temperature an hour ago was 89, now it's 73. look at millville, 83, and atlantic city the same.
