at 9:30 it's still in south jersey and delaware at 2:00 a.m. still in south jersey and delaware. temperatures fall and this starts to climb across the area. we're going to discuss that and go hour by hour. right now steve is going to break it down and show you what's going to happen in delaware. >> it depends on where you are. the storm has arrived in areas like bethany beach where it's snowing lightly right now. in northern delaware it's still dry. again, depending where you are, further to the south that's where we're seeing the steadiest of the light snow. we're seeing that around rehobeth beach down to lewis. as we work through the evening hours, you can see the snow progressing up to the north. it doesn't make much progress through the early morning hours tomorrow. but then thereafter, you can see the snow accumulations increasing, up to about almost an inch in dover by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. four inches down in georgetown. as we head through the afternoon hours, that snow continues to fall. there will be a little bit of a mix down to

steadier snow in south delaware and enginejersey. a little slushy accumulation on grassy areas. we're going to continue to watch these trends as they unfold tonight at 11:00. i'll have the newest information from the forecast models. we are watching some spotty showers off to the west. they are getting snow in the northern mexico mown mountains. and by saturday morning, this brings snow all the way into philadelphia. a rain/snow mix in parts of delaware. it doesn't move out of here until sunday morning. this isn't a lot of snow, but it's a consistent snow is shower event. this is our rapid precision model. and this one basically brings in a rain/snow mix early saturday morning. brings maybe philadelphia. maybe we get flurries here and then it's out of here late on saturday. how much snow? that one only brings in a meager inch or so perhaps to some areas in south jersey and along perhaps south delaware as well. 42 tomorrow. 40 on saturday. 38 sunday. 42 on monday. next shot of snow will be tuesday night and wednesday. then it gets cold and another chance of snow towards next week

you know, tonight, already we're starting to see the snow fall in southern delaware and along the jersey shore. especially in south jersey. we're all going to be affected by it, pennsylvania suburbs, philadelphia, new jersey, and delaware. especially new jersey and delaware. i think that's where we'll see our highest amounts. when? now through about 2:00 in the morning we'll see it cranking up across south jersey and delaware. we're already seeing it in southern delaware and along the jersey shore. between 2:00 and the morning and 7:00 that's when philadelphia will see flurries and light snow developing. this is going to be a long lived event, tonight through sunday night. about 18 hours of potential snow. it will be light snow, steady snow. we're not expecting thundersnow and it is going to be a wet snow that comes down. a light snowfall but a wet snow that comes down. slippery travel. we'll see icy roads on the back side of this entire thing. here's a look at what's going on with this right now. you can see the snow already moving through southern delaware, lewis, dover, you have rain. smyrna, rain, wilmington,
