picking up for parts of the north bay, first along the san mateo coast within lunchtime, 2:00 time frame into the east bay and the south bay. as people start to make their way out of work, trying to get home as quickly as possible, but might add a couple of minutes there to that drive time. as those showers are coming down, the activity continues as we push it on into our evening hours with the pinks right there you see on your screen. might even get some dusting on our peaks down here into mount hamilton as we bring in some of that cold air overnight. we do look at those showers becoming more spotty into our thursday, but with breaks here of some sunshine, we could start to build that surface heating and lead to some convection. so we're not going to rule out the chance of seeing some thunderstorm activity. also, some hail possible as we go on today and on into tomorrow. if you hear thunder roars, go indoors. remember that and share that with others. as far as the wind gusts, we've started to register some of that already going on into the next couple of hours, coming out from the south around 40 to 50 miles an hour.
