south it is getting heavier in marin county. lighter amounts through the peninsula, the east bay.r six and a half inches for the past 12 hours on mount tam. nevada over an inch. petaluma, nearly two inches. this ranks the fifth wettest october on record, with 3.57 for the month of october. richmond, over two inches. we are looking at some flooding on the roadways already. we will be watching the creeks and rivers closely. certainly in the north bay. 50 mile an hour winds, mount diablo. 46 mile an hour wind gusts above half moon bay. look at the surface winds, 25 to 30 miles per hour, and the timeline keeps the heaviest rain in the north bay for the first part of the day. by 2:00 it sinks south and east. this is an all day event. we are watching those extremes. the trees, we have had som brat w wha alash of the north bay and along the peninsula. the wind is going to be with us all day. please try to stay off the roads and enjoy the weather from indoors. you're going to have this through the evening. we will track totals, coming up. liz: looking at it through your window, i guess. p

county for today. for the south bay, not as windy. we're headed towards 78 in gilroy. for the eastuld reach 80 degrees, but mainly some mid to upper 70s here as it will be a nice and sunny afternoon. a lot of sunshine for the peninsula as well. san francisco at 66 and 68 downtown. north bay temperatures reaching 78 in sonoma as well as 78 in ukiah. as we go through the forecast, we're looking to see any rain on the horizon. we are going to see a couple of storm systems moving very close and some very slight rain chances farther north, but it does look like that rain dries up before it gets here. we'll be watching that system on wednesday. we will get the cooler temperatures. in santa rosa we are going to be warming up in the near term with a summer-like weekend reaching into the mid 80s. take a look how temperatures drop off on sunday and we'll continue with fall-like weather into next week with breezy winds. temperatures in the next seven days for the valley will definitely be warmer and then cooling down. we'll have basically a split weekend with warmer and sunny on saturday and
